DA960: Access control door interlock module

This is a microcontroller controlled interlock system, ideal for security and standard use applications. During installation, an engineer can configure these to operate 2, 3 or 4 doors at a time in normally locked or normally free operation. Additionally, multiple interlocks can be linked to control additional doors.

Designed with no Ethernet or computer interface it makes these units inherently hacker resistant from cyber attacks and available within mild steel tamper switched enclosures to resist traditional physical attack. Clean relay signalling contacts for door locks, alarm and busy status.

Idle mode

Simply adjust the configuration PCB jumpers to set the system into normally free or normally locked operation.

Door configuration

These controllers can be used in 2, 3 or four door working per unit. PCB jumpers can be confirgured during installation to set the desired mode of operation.

Simply link more than one DA960 controlers to operate more than four door configurations with simple wire connection. This allows a DA960 controller to signal other units to lock and ignore requests to exit or unlock all doors as needed.

Delay timer

DA960 modules include an optional 5s or 10s delay timer, simply select if which is required during installation.

Alarm SPCO

The alarm SPCO relay contact changes over under the following conditions:

Auxiliary door outputs

Additional 5V DC (up to 50mA) signaling terminals are available for switching additional door lock relays or equipment.

Mild steel wall-mountable enclosure

DA960-XSM models are provided within precision-made enclosures, finished in a durable easy to clean white powder coating. These are provided with the DA774-P-12V power supply.

Cable entry knockouts on all sides

To assist with quick and simple installation, each enclosure features cable knock-outs on all sides so engineers can quickly prepare the enclosure for cable glands for wiring such as the mains power cable on any side of the enclosure.

White powder coating to RAL9016

Each enclosure is powder-coated in white to provide a tough durable, easy to clean finish.

Designed, tested and manufactured in Great Britain

Dantech Electronic Engineering design the products we make. We manufacture and test our products by hand with trained technicians to ensure every single unit that leaves our factory is something we are proud to have our name on and our guarantee. We are so confident in the quality of our made in Britain products, they each have five-years warranty. We take pride in knowing our customers receive a product that will do the job it was designed to do, for true value.

Example: DA960

Configuration mode: Two door, normally locked interlock.

The button for door A is pressed. Control for door B is tested. If not released, then monitor for door B is tested. If secure, contacts for door A are operated for time set by your controller.

During this time a signal prevents B from operating. While door A is open the monitor also prevents B from operating. Door B cannot be released until door A release times out and door A is secure.

Example: DA960

Configuration mode: Four door, normally free interlock.

Door A is opened, doors B, C & D will lock until door A is closed.
