This unit comprises of 3 x 12V DC 4A PSU's in a large hinged, lockable enclosure. As well as being able to power up to 24 different devices there is also battery charging capability and an optional fire enable facility. The features of this unit are rounded off by the inclusion of relays that provide signalling in the event of low voltage or mains fail conditions. As you can see from the photograph, each of the PSU modules is individually mounted on its own aluminium chassis. In the (highly unlikely!) event of failure this enables the easy replacement of a single unit without having to go to the trouble of removing the entire enclosure. It also allows for a single chassis to be fitted into another already installed enclosure thus permitting a reduction in engineer time. |

This 19" rack mountable enclosure takes up 4U of rack space and is designed with a sliding drawer mechanism to enable the easy fitting of a variety of different equipment required by one of our more demanding specifiers. Another challenge attached to this product was that it had to have packaging suitable to ensure that it would survive travelling around the world and being handled on and off several aircraft before arriving at its destination in a pristine condition.
